Grain Facility Uvalde

The facility features 24 corrugated metal and/or bolted steel storage bins, ranging in size from 2,064 bushels to 430,936 bushels, with an average capacity of 134,480 bush. Most have aeration fans and flat metal floors with sweep augers while the hopper bins have angled floors. A series of conveyors and elevator legs completely link the facility so grain can be moved from the two truck receiving pits, measuring 10’ x 10’ and 12’ x 12’, dryers, storage bins, processing area and loadouts. There is also one 100+ foot tall Kyse grain dryer with a 5,000 bushel per hour capacity.

Other facility infrastructure includes:

A wood-frame, brick exterior 1,392± square-foot office building featuring an additional 250 square feet of porches and a reception area, two private offices, restrooms as well as storage. There is a 10’ x 70’ in-ground truck scale located along the east side of the building.

A metal-exterior, steel-framed processing building encompassing 14,750± square feet featuring a processing area (7,850± square feet), bagging/staging area (2,496± square feet), shop area (3,500± square feet), and office/breakroom (900± square feet).

An insulated metal, steel-frame construction truck loading building encompassing 11,024± square feet on a dock high concrete slab foundation also offers a 300± square-foot office.

A 40,000± square-foot, steel-frame finished product warehouse with insulated metal exterior walls is connected to the truck loading building. The warehouse features a bolted steel rack system with a 7,500-pallet capacity.

In addition, the complex boasts a 4,500± square-foot steel-framed load out shed, two equipment sheds measuring 3,025± square feet and 4,787± square feet and one domestic water well with a submersible pump.
